Mazda's total domestic production volume in September 2011 decreased 3.0% compared to September 2010 due to reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April through September 2011 decreased 10.6% year-on-year due to reduced production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production

Mazda's overseas production volume in September 2011 decreased 1.9% year-on-year, reflecting reduced production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.6% (up 0.4 points year-on-year), with a 3.3% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.5 points year-on-year) and a 4.8% total market share (up 0.4 points year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April through September 2011 decreased 24.1% year-on-year due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.8% (down 0.1 points year-on-year), with a 3.1% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 4.9% total market share (unchanged year-on-year).
